NO SCHOOL TODAY; I HAVE A SNOW DAY!!!

Despite living in norway.. I've never had a snow day, all my life.. but today school is closed! I made yoghurt waffles with buttercream just to celebrate!

And, just so you know, the schools aren't closed because there's so much snow (there's about a meter, or a little less, it's hard to tell xD but it's not really alot)..
It's closed because there's a danger of avalanches! there were several big avalanches during the night, so that's why the schools are closed! ^^ Isn't that really awesome? I love to brag about the fact that we have avalanches it's because our school is placed below a steep part of the mountain that often has avalanches.. but they're usually not big and won't hit the school.. but obviously, today, that's a possibility x3

I'm too lazy and happy to bother about my grammar and spelling today : D i hope you can live with that xD

Oh, my day is 7 hours longer today, since i don't have school. Oh, what a happy life! Lots of time to relax and listen to super junior xD

Hello all How are you? Has the christmas spirit kicked in yet?
I felt like it was time to update my journal, now that my birthday is out of the way and all.
Actually, my dear had her birthday on the 23rd and on the 30th!

Now they've lit the christmas tree in town square, i've bought myself a chocolate advent calendar, i watched the children's advent calendar on tv and plan to do so all the way to the 24th! We're singing christmas songs in our choir, and are planning to sing at a church concert on the 13th. Also, on the 13th it's the day of Santa Lucia, which we'll celebrate by baking lussekatter can't wait! The day before yesterday it snowed properly for the first time in forever, so i've been walking 40 minutes each way to school in the snow, enjoying every minute of it. It's easy to say i'm enjoying christmas as much as possible!

I haven't bought all the christmas presents yet, and time is running out fast.. because if i am going to send something in the mail (and i have quite alot of those presents) i have to send it before the 16th in order for it to get there in time..

In all of this i haven't done much drawing.. which is sad.. but i have edited and uploaded some photos to my photo account InvisibleSeptember

Also Katie, i have a huge plan that involves making something for your birthday, but i can't guarantee anything
I'm working on a fairly big drawing for Hip-Scarecrow that has been like 20% done for OVEr a year now.. i figured i should get teh stick out of my ass and finish it xD and i've come quite a long way now, actually. It was supposed to be for her birthday but i guess it has to be a christmas present.

Did you guys know, i signed up in a political party for youth? I'm so happy about it ^^
It's called "Sosialistisk Ungdom" = Socialistic Youth
But by american standard this party would probably be concidered communistic x)
(I've heard even the party that won the election in Norway this year is concidered to be communistic by the americans.. and the party that my youth party is a part of is even further to teh left that that party x) so yeah.. but they aren't communistic.. there is actually a communist party in norway too but they're not very popular at all xD

Time moves so fast!
I mean, only moments ago i was thinking, some of my friends have their birthdays soon, and that was early in october!  now, in less than a week, it's my own birthday Oo
It caught me totally unprepared xD

Now, the thing i really want for my birthday is an asian ball jointed doll..
But my parents say it's a waste of money and they wont get me one. That makes me sad u__u.
I know they are hell expensive.. but still. Okay, i admit it. I'm spoiled.
I'll just have to save up for a doll myself

My birthday is november the 1st, and for some reason i really feel like having a halloween birthday this year : D me and some friends are gonna eat cake and candy and watch a movie or something. It'll be nice

SHOUTOUT TO NEE-CHAN, whose birthday was on october the 22nd!



Also, in the next month, Elisabeth has her birthday, and also tina! SO, lots of opportunities for cake-eating!
And before i know it... it'll be december! Time to light up the christmas tree in the town square, eat ginger bread cookies, drink christmas soda, bake lussekatter, buy presents for people and get wrapped up in christmas spirit

I'm back from Berlin y'all
BERLIN WAR SUPER-GEIL
but yeah, it's true. I love Berlin. i LOVE it.  they have an awesome U-bahn system, which is totally practical and environmentally friendly. and cheap. Oh, couldn't norway, or atleast Oslo have that..
The family i stayed with was so nice! we stayed with our teacher there and his wife, who was from poland! and their two cats, who were shy, but i still got to pat them a little!
BERLIN was so cute <3 and i can't get over the u-bahn! it's brilliant. and colourful. i tell you, the walls on each station had all different coloured tiles!  and when we went to school, we had to change trains on OSLOER  STRAßE, which was all covered in norwegian flags! that was awesome!


anyway, i hope to go back to berlin more. i love it there, despite creepy men whistling and shouting after us. x) ... i bought german manga!  AND i can understand it! (my life is awesome)

SO, back in norway autumn has started. and i'm not sad about it at all, like i was last year. I'm pretty darn happy. I've enjoyed every second of it, with the dark evenings and the leaves slowly turning yellow and red and falling down, and the wind! :') yeah.

The only thing i haven't done lately, is drawing. But i'm going to go back to drawing classes now that they found a new teacher for us, so HOPEFULLY that will loosen up my block

.. I'm in a sasunaru craze lately x)  it has SUCH a huge emotional impact on me, i'm not even joking. It's making me all happy and giggly an depressed at the same time.
